Teeny fingernails and toes, wide-eyed smiles, the warm weight of an infant asleep on your chest, and a tender heart so filled with love you’ll worry it may burst from the glorious, aching rawness of it all (I swear that bit feels better than it sounds!).

Why in-home..?
Why work with an in-home newborn photographer?
That is SUCH a great question.
I’m a big believer that our spaces embrace and shape us as we grow, which is why I feel it so fitting that we make a record of love and connection within your home – the place in which your teeny one’s sense of belonging will be so acutely tied.
Having your newborn and family photographs made at home will bring a deeper level of meaning and magic to the art we make, now and forever.
Telling this chapter, will commence a family tradition of love & belonging; a legacy of love to pass down to your babies, and to ensure you’ll ever remember what it felt like when they arrived to change your little family forever.
What’s it like..?
In-home photography sessions are relaxed and family-led.
I’ll come around and we'll spend an easy couple of hours together.
It’s a beautiful opportunity for you to slow down and completely *be* with one another. All the while I’ll gently guide you and create a space in which you’re able to organically show the connections you share – the bond you're forming with your littlest darling.
By the time I say goodbye, we’ll have made a visual and irreplaceable archive of how it felt in those hazy days of falling in love with your baby: the beginning of a beautiful lifelong love story.
What happens next..?
Our sweet and much-anticipated time together will come and go (as all good things tend to do), then a couple weeks later, I’ll send you a stunning gallery featuring your beautiful family doing what you do best: laughing, making memories and covering each other with love.
You’ll see your kiddie-winks’ sass and sparkle ignite your fierce, tender love for them in perfectly preserved and meaningful family portraits – and you’ll probably cry just a little bit too (happy tears though, I promise!).
You’ll select the ones you love the most, and they will be yours to keep forever; a tangible keepsake of a moment in time. An artful record of the reason and meaning of everything: love, belonging, and connection.

It was really important for us to capture newborn photos of our baby girl Scarlet; we wanted to have lasting memories of this precious time. After doing some research, I knew Michelle was right for us; she ticked all the boxes with her in-home, natural and beautiful style - nothing looked staged, and she could make any moment frame worthy.
Our session felt relaxed and comfortable.
Michelle was lovely, and took the time to get incredible shots at our baby’s pace.

As a result of many years serving the families of the greater Geelong region, I’ve developed an online ordering experience and pricing structure that allows you to select exactly what you love, choosing only your favourites for purchase, based on your needs and budget.
Investment begins at $1100 and is designed to ensure you leave the experience with both the highest quality keepsakes for display, as well as digital files for sharing, personal printing, and archival purposes. ♥︎

The arrival of freshly squishable newborns has a tendency to be rather unpredictable. As a family portrait photographer in Geelong, I love to offer my clients my whole self, with all the happy hand-holding and help that may be needed. I take a limited number of newborns monthly, and these typically fill up a few months in advance.
I’d recommend reaching out at your soonest convenience so we can get you on the calendar nice and early bird!
